The penultimate Coss Country race of the season is this Saturday 17th February. It's the last of the local ones so it would be great to see some more members having a try.
South East Lancs
Astley Park, Chorley, PR7 1XA
Ladies start 1:40pm
Men start 2:20pm
If you raced at Tandle Hill or at Leigh Sports Village (20/1) then use the same SELCC number.
Anyone who hasn't raced and would like to try you can register on the day for £5. Bargain.
If you fancy a try at cross then this is an ideal course to have a try. You would benefit from wearing trail shoes over regular road trainers but it's not impossible if you want to just have a go see if you like it. Please remember your A&T vest.
I'll be there on Saturday and I'll happily come with you to collect a number, show you where we (attempt to) pitch our tent and a quick description of the course.
Please let me know if you can make it. It would be great to get enough runners out to make an A&T mens and a ladies team in the results.
Bring the family with you to watch, it's a lovely park with a play area for the kids :)
Note: the postcode sends you to The Barons Rest which can get busy, I park on the main road and walk across the park to the start.
Happy to answer any questions, just message. Hope to see you there!
