Trail or Road Shoes ? Has anyone seen Phil ? What do we pay our taxes for ? Just some of the questions prior to todays race.
With lots of races over this weekend we still managed to turn out 18 Blue vests in what can only be described as awful conditions.
I think most people went for the road shoes and in hindsight wished they hadn't as the course was quite slippery and uneven unlike last weeks road race. However there were some nice t-shirts for all those finishers who completed the course and Burden even produced them in our colours !
Fist male back for A&T was Simon Ford and this was after his 6 mile cross country effort yesterday, he was closely followed by Mark Collins and Gary Stevens.
First Lady back was Josie Maley-Jones who was chased by Jackie Price and then Louise Simpson.
The club has had a busy few weekends recently and your support and efforts whether racing or supporting has been much appreciated. With that in mind you can have a weekend off next week in preparation for the next club race which is the Gin Pit Half Marathon (new course).
