The morning started of with a fun run which some A&T family members took part in and did extremely well for a first run. Well done to all of you that took part and then stayed on to support the A&T Team.
18 blue vests lined up at the start which considering it was a bank holiday weekend and still in the school holidays is a great effort. The great British weather did its job in making the course nice and muddy and plenty of puddles for us to contend with.
As we are coming down to the last few races of our road championships its great to see some battles taking place across all the leagues with people jostling for big points.
First across the line for A& T was Simon Ford with a great time of 31.55, he was followed by Matthew Thorpe and Mark Collins.
First female A&T across the line was Josie Maley in 33.19 also picking up an award for 2nd female overall. Jackie Price and Louise Simpson followed in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
With this being a local race it was great to see some family supporters on and around the course and also club members offering their support - Stu Jones, James Bentall, Kerry Lomas, Joan Cooke and Lynn Boylin.

Cap'n - CB
P.S. Thanks for those who keep asking if i'm ok I do appreciate it. I am struggling at present with my legs and back and have been for a while and finding it very frustrating not being able to run as good as I know I can. I have good days and bad days just like everyone else but i'm sure i'll get through it.
