Wednesday training are speed / fartlek workouts designed by our club coach Shaun Moran.
These sessions work both the aerobic and anaerobic systems which will help up your performance levels in races.
Most sessions last between 45 Min's to 1 hour and ran at a variety of speeds depending on your ability.
In autumn / winter we used to the roads and in spring / summer the trails.
Currently meeting at the Miners Welfare Club, Gin Pit at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start
These sessions are normally 7 miles in total with the warm up and warm down so runners can meet up at Higher Green at 6.45pm (winter only) if you just want to do the session.
