Just to let you
know about the arrangements for the next challenge match on Wednesday 30th
May.
The event will
take place at Clifton Marina, which is between Swinton and Kearsley just off
the A666. The event will be a 4 x 2.5Km Relay on a loop of the trail in
the Marina. There is sufficient car park places for about 80 cars there, and
if these get filled up there will also be Clifton Cricket Club, which has been
booked for afterwards for pasties and peas. As last time at the Anglezarke
event we would ask people to chip in with a couple of quid to cover the
costs.
We plan to start
at 7.30pm, so if you could let your people know and then tell me nearer the
time how many teams you have, this will then allow us to organise the
teams and catering. Hopefully if we can get 20 people per club, we could get 5
teams each to compete.
