I have entered Great Manchester Cycle which takes place on Monday 4th June 2012 and will be cycling the 26.2 mile route. Although I am not very speedy, I should get round in the time allowed.
As I am not an experienced cyclist (yet) this will be more of a challenge for me than doing a running event.
The purpose of me doing the event is to raise money for Dogs Trust. I ask that people sponsor me for any amount that they can spare, however small you may think it is every penny counts and is very much appreciated by me and the Dogs Trust. The timing of the race coincides with it being 3 years in June since I had to let my Molly go through old age illnesses, so seems appropriate that I raise money for the Dogs Trust.
I am trying to help the Dogs Trust give dogs that have lost their homes through no fault of their own a safe place to be until they find a new loving family like my Molly had.
