The meeting started with Mark Lysycia presenting Shaun Moran with his lifetime honorary membership for his hard work and dedication to the club over the past 10 years.
Gill Pimblott
The Gill Pimblott 5k and 1 mile fun run is on Sunday 10th July at the Gin Pit ..
We require someone to set up the course and at least another 4 course Marshall's .. please let Gary Stevens or Craig Bradbury know if you can help.
If you are running and have a family member or friend who can help please let us know.
We also require as many people as possible to run
We kindly ask each member to donate a bottle of wine, chocolate, biscuits, unwanted present etc for the prize fund and raffle - please give to a committee member or drop it off on the day.
All money raised go towards a local cancer charity

Monday Training
For the foreseeable future all Monday sessions are held at the LSV track - everyone welcome
Thursday Training
Paul Basnett assisted by Michaela Shaw are helping to bring the Thursday group back to life. As well as the normal 5 - 8 mile runs we are introducing shorter runs of around 3 miles so no one is put off by the distance. It would be fantastic to see former Thursday runners come down and help support this session
Road Champs
Next Club races are the Horwich 5 - Wednesday 20th July and Elswick 10 Saturday 23rd July
Loyalty Scheme
The Gin Pit welfare club plan to introduce a loyalty scheme for all members in which you will get discount off drinks purchased at the bar. You will need to show your membership card so they can scan the bar code on the back .. note - these cards have not been produced yet and are likely to be in place for the next renewal.
British Triathlon Affiliation
We will contact BTA and put the wheels in motion.
It may be that we get registered for the start of 2012 .. we will keep you all informed.
Gin Pit Marathon
"Marathon Mon" Malc Collins is organizing another marathon on Monday 29th August which is going to be 6 loops of a 4.4 loop around the trails. Malc is looking for a few volunteers to help out.
If you want to enter the marathon see Malc for the entry form .. the cost is £15.00
For A&T members only you have the option to run a half marathon at a cost of £10.00
All finishers get a medal
