Group A+T 10 year Anniversary photograph taken by Steve Bateson

Just before the race proceeding started, 41  out of our 113 members turned up at 9am  for a 10 year anniversary picture. I just want to say thank you  for making that extra effort  as some of you had to get off straight after the photo and we then had to get on and prepare  for the race.

I have to say it was  great when I turned up and saw so many members  all in the club colours. Steve Bateson the photographer, also stayed for the race and took many more all of which will be on sale through www.runningpix.co.uk

The speedway benches came in handy and they were just the right length to accommodate all of us.Thanks to  Shaun Moran for suggesting these in the first place.

Thanks to Barry Allman for producing a large laminated A+T banner.

Thank also to Clare Unsworth for her earlier e-mails and blog features in promoting this event.

Its never easy to ask members to turn up to have a picture taken , especially on a Sunday morning 2 hours before a race. You will be pleased to know Clare and I will NOT be pestering you for another picture for at least ten years!

The club have purchased a large 18x12 which we will frame and put in up in the welfare club.

Any questions about prices, sizes etc  please drop me an e-mail marklysycia@yahoo.co.uk

A couple of the pictures can be viewed on my  facebook wall.

Thanks

Mark
