This weekend is the second Grand Prix/Club Champs race at Midgley Moor, Nr Halifax It is a Category AS: 5miles with 1250ft ascent.

Saturday 26th March 2011 at 11.00. Location Booth Cricket Club, Booth, Halifax.

**PARKING IS VERY LIMITED - PLEASE CAR SHARE, YOU MAY NEED TO PARK ON LUDDENDEN ROAD UP TO 1KM AWAY***

Details:
The race starts and finishes opposite Dean House Farm, 200m from the Cricket Club. From the A646 at Luddendenfoot turn north between Coach and Horses and Weavers Arms up the hill towards Booth. After 1 mile turn right to Booth. Parking is limited. Please share cars and park as directed. NO PARKING ON THE LANE TO BOOTH (THIS IS A BUS ROUTE).

The entry fee is £3.50 on day only and prize giving will take place in Cricket Club.

The route is mainly over heather moorland, on and off paths. It will be flagged only between the Start and Brownhill, checkpoints 4 to 5 and from 6 to finish. Runners may choose their own route between other checkpoints. The minimum age for competitors is 18.

Equipment
Previous fell running experience and navigational skills are needed and runners must carry full body cover, map and compass.

I've attached a copy of the race map with checkpoints listed for you to print off and bring with you.
