A&T cross-country – next race by Mark Riches

The next race in this year’s cross-country champs is this Saturday (12th) at Lawson’s Ground, Blackpool
Sat Nav: FY3 9RT
This is a Mid Lancs so you need to wear the same number as Barrow, Blackburn & Burnley
If you did not race at Barrow, Blackburn or Burnley, I will let you have a number on the day
Start times - ladies 2:00 pm & men 2:30 pm
For those of you wanting to travel in convoy please be at Atherton train station ready to leave at 12:30
Important information about parking - I have been asked to communicate the flowing:
“Parking will be on one side of a track that leads off Lawson Road and runs along beside the competition area.  Because of this proximity to runners, car drivers and pedestrians need to be particularly careful and considerate.
The barrier into the area will open at 10:30am.  Those arriving before 10:30 am and after the area is full, will need to park in the residential roads off Lawson Road to the south.
Parking along the track will entail driving in on the left, turning at the point indicated and driving back to the next available space close in to your left hand side.  Please follow the marshal’s instructions.
There will be no parking at the Model Village and please don't use the De Vere Hotel car park.”
Directions & course map are on the website www.midlancs.org.uk
I can be contacted on mark.riches@talk21.com if you need clarification on anything before Saturday
