Hi All,
On behalf of the club I am pleased to welcome on board Micheal Geoghegan who joined us last night. Micheal did over 6 miles with a group of us at a steady pace and seemed OK with it. His profile and picture will be on the member profile section very soon.
It was great to see 24 members down at training last night.
Good to see the following members who haven't been down for a while....
Dan"the man" reason.......signed up for London/Chester Marathon
Rufus ......sporting a designer stubble beard and still come round the corner on two wheels with a minute to spare.........Agreed to buy one of the remaining A+T jackets..We have witnesses!
Tony Quinn
Greg Ruscoe.
Ray Taylor....back from Injury
Also a nice return from Derek Coop who's also been injured and had a "steady" run with Cath Hodgetts who's not been down for a while and is doing her first Half Marathon the end of this month, good luck with that.
Another bunch of runners included....
Garry Baines....entered Chester Marathon first, then 12 members followed suit!!
John Foulds ...done 46 races last year which is low for John and has a stack of big races including marathons on the horizon
Alex Foster,Jonathon Hyde and Gary Atherton.........the fast brigade!
Andrew(i'm hard enough to wear shorts) Coates.
Glyn and Vanessa Thompson
Michaela "Captain Marathon" Shaw...entered the London Marathon
Michelle fuller....doing her first Marathon in May
Liz
Suzanne(+Bob)
Sarah
Maria Lowe...Target is a sub 3 hour for London Marathon....Maria has the support from us all.
Christine
Joan..
.....and yours truly who's also entered the Chester Marathon(I was sober at the time) and who's target is to gather enough brownie points to get away again to do the Palma half in October.....but more importantly get a nice holiday booked...soon..... for Mrs L to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary in a few months!!!

Next down at training next Thursday and maybe Wednesday, please let me know if you want me to bring your tops.
Don't forget the club AGM Sunday 30th Jan.
Thanks
Mark
