About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Marathon Training W/C 24th January

Tuesday - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3443106 - Dougie, 1 way to East Lancs, down the Lancs to Higher Green Lane, Princess Ave, Squires Lane, Millers Lane, Dougie and back to central - 9 miles

Thursday - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4246208 - (the 5 hills). Central, Newbrook Road (hill 1), Salford Rd, Watergate Lane (hill 2), Smethurst Lane (hill 3), St Helens Rd, Hulton Lane (hill 4), Wigan Rd, past the Tavern (hill 5) to Chequerbent roundabout, right along Manchester Rd, right up Bolton Road to the round house, down the path to Snydale Way, Chequerbent roundabout, Manchester Rd, Newbrook Rd and back to central - 10.9 miles. 

Sundayhttp://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4208417 – Central Station, Newbrook Road, Smethurst Lane, Plodder Lane, Manchester Road, Chequerbent, past the Tavern, Beaumont Road, Chorley New Road, Past the Reebok to the A6, back to 4 Lane Ends, Newbrook to central – 17 miles.

Thursday run setting off at 6:15 prompt from central.

Sunday run setting off at 9:30 from Central Station
