About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Heaton Park X-Country by Clare Unsworth

Heaton Park 30/10/2010

I took it upon myself to represent A&T at Heaton Park in the SEL league! No tent, no club friends :(   ...not to worry though, I made friends with Burnden Club and they looked after my stuff and cheered me in at the end!
Found it very hard, I only did it because everyone told me there was  stream that was good fun to run through but it had dried up!
I also fell over in first 5 minutes and now have an swollen ankle the size of a football!
However, finished the 4 mile course in 47.03 and came...wait for it....not last!! yey!! (2nd to last!! I'm improving!!)
