About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Road Relays - By Garry Baines

Hi all

At last night's meeting we agreed to enter teams for 2 Road Relay events.

The first one is the Greater Manchester Road Relays at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday 18th September.

The Ladies team will consist of 3 runners each covering a distance of 4k.

The Men's team will consist of 4 runners each covering a distance of 4.8k

The second one is the Northern Athletics Road Relay Champs at Wythenshawe Park on Saturday 2nd October.

The Ladies team will consist of 4 runners each covering a distance of 4.9k

The Men's Team will consist of 6 runners each covering a distance of 5.6k

Naturally we will be competing against strong fields but it will be a great experience for those taking part and it will heighten the profile of A&T and may help attract new members in the future.

We would like the teams we field to be as strong as possible although I am already aware of the unavailability of some runners. Can you please confirm your availability/unavailability for both events to me as soon as possible?

For those not competing it would be great to go down to the events and cheer on our teams.
