Membership Update - by Mark Lysycia

I am pleased to announce that we have had two more members join us this week. Jean Mann, who is no stranger to the running circles and has posted some excellent times in the past. I am convinced she will back there supporting our already strong ladies squad.  Also, Barry Haines, from Worsley,who trained with us on the trails last week On behalf of the club, Welcome on board to you both. This now puts us on 97 active members once I register Jean,Barry with the EA.

So who's going to be Astley and Tyldesley's 100th member???

I have several potential runners/newcomers I am currently talking to who tell me they check our blog and web site regularly. We still haven't had a lot of change on the profile's in three weeks apart from Micheal and Josie, thanks to you two, so please take 5 minutes just to fill it in and send it back to me.Once it's done that's it.No more pestering When we have 75-80 on the blog it will look pretty impressive....you'll have to trust me on that one.

Finally, club kit,the next big A+T gathering will be the Swinton 10 on the 26th September followed by a social get together in the evening, so please let myself or Suzanne know if you need any Kit. We only have a few club jackets left,so if you think you may need one for the cooler months ahead,X/C etc, let us know ASAP.
