About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Howe Bridge Marlins Annual 1500m Swim - by Terry Hughes

Howe Bridge Marlins swimming club are hosting their Annual 1500m Swim Event on Saturday 27th November 4pm-7pm (Howe Bridge Swimming Pool).

It was a good event last year, which well organised, with swimmers of all abilities taking part. I think finish times ranged from about 17 minutes to 35 minutes.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll collect the entry fee and fill-in the forms for everyone.

The fee hasn't been finalised yet, but it will be around £12 (which includes a buffet after the swim). Spectators are welcome and they can also pay for the buffet if they don't want to swim (not sure how much the buffet only is until I get the entry forms).
