About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Southport Bike Ride - Sunday 5th September

Calling all cyclists.

We are doing our last long bike ride of 2010 on Sunday 5th September to Southport and back which is around 70 miles.

We will be meeting at 9.15am for a 9.30am start at Atherton station and then making our way down the A6 through Chorley and Euxton which is all country roads and fairly flat.

We have the option of a chippy or cafe dinner before making our way back and then calling at Fredericks ice cream parlour on the way back in Chorley.

We did this ride a few months ago and it was one of the best of the year.

Wow, a chinese bloke seems interested in a ride to Southport and back.
If he is in Atherton it'll be about the same distance as we do. If he is in Beijing he will need more than a fry up and an ice cream to get him home!!
