About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Southport Bike Ride - by Helen Minshall

Hi everyone.

My son and I would like to do the bike ride to Southport and back on Sunday 5th September. Are there any other budding cyclists who might like to join us? I've recently bought a road bike and I've been doing a lot of cycling lately including the Manchester - Blackpool and Manchester - Chester bike rides, and I want to start training for triathlons (swimming is my best sport). The main group who are cycling to Southport will be averaging 17mph, and I reckon my son and I will probably be doing more like 14mph. Would any slower cyclists like to join us? We could set off at 8.30am and meet with the others in Southport?
