About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Macclesfield Tri - Volunteers Wanted

Hello,

I’m e-mailing from Xtra Mile Events,

We are organising the Macclesfield Triathlon on the 15th August and are looking for marshals to help out on the day and wondered if anyone from Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners would be able to help please?

The success of these events is often down to the volunteer marshals who help to guide the athletes around the course.

We have a number of ways of returning the favour and in particular for Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners, if a member can get a friend or family member to marshal they can have a refund on their race fee!

We will require volunteers from 7am but will be finished by lunchtime, food will be provided and it is a fun day out!
