About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Morecambe 10km - by Garry Baines

7 A&T runners made the trip to Morecambe for the annual 10k race. A fresh sea breeze and partially undulating course restricted finishing times.

Shaun Moran was first home in 37:08 and duly took the V50 prize. Alan Hilton continues to impress and clocked another sub 40 10k in 39:39.

Greg Ruscoe struggled a little and was perhaps disappointed with his time of 42:58.

Close behind was a grafting Steve Foster who crossed in 43:23.

Yours truly took another step forward on the comeback trail with an improving 45:37.

Sue Fletcher and Carole Baines enjoyed a close tussle throughout the race with Sue coming home 7 seconds ahead in 46:46.
