Message from Mark Lysycia

Hi Everyone,

Just a note to say men's short sleeve running tops arrived today, at long last! Ladies tops are on a boat I have been told and should be here soon.

As usual, please see Suzanne or myself with your size requirement. Cost of the tee shirt is £8.50. If possible just send a quick e-mail to remind us to bring the stock to the session, or simply ask when you see us.

I was amazed also at the amount of money I collected before and after Pete's 5k handicap(great session Pete and the helpers). Over £100. £70 in raffle tickets, entry money for Wednesdays race and money for the very smart looking A+T jacket.....yes , we do still sell them. So thanks to all of you who have purchased raffle tickets so far. On Wednesday night, Clare will be helping me sell some more before and after the race, so remember to hound her before she gets you.

I did mention it tonight but please make sure you do not park on Ley Rd but on the car park or follow the Marshall's instructions.

Good to see Cliff and Micheal down on the track tonight. Not seen Cliff at the club for months and don't think I've Micheal on the track before

Also good to see David Jackson who trained with us for the second time tonight. Another quality runner, who, if he joins can only strengthen the men's team immensely . There's too many people to mention, but basically, its good to see you all on these training sessions.

Very well done to the ladies Clare,Carole, Michelle and Suzanne who won prizes and to Mark R and Gary S for doing it for the lads.

Any non A+T member reading this and who run for another club but feel they may want to try another club, why not try us for a few weeks to see if you like it. Everyone who does that end up joining A+T as our reputation amongst the running circles is rapidly spreading.

Don't forget, if you are not running on Wednesday, but don't mind helping out, please let me know.

See you all Wednesday.

Thanks
Mark
