Forthcoming Fell Races by Paul Jackson

Holcombe Two Towers (AS) Wed 9th June 7.15pm

This is a 4m/1300' ascent race and is a little belter. Last year we did it in torrential conditions but it looks to be a dryer event this year. Some tough scrambles to negotiate but a fun race all the same.

£3.00 entry on the day and the venue is the Hare & Hounds pub (always a good sign), on the A676, Bury.

This is an A&T Club Champs Race. I can't make this one due to a parents evening but there'll be plenty going up. As it's an earlier start than usual look to be leaving the Rail Station by 6.15 at the latest to avoid the mad dash.

Knowl Hill (BM) Sun 13th June 11.00am

This is a 6m/1300' ascent run, and is also a nice run around the hills and reservoirs of Rochdale. £4.00 entry on the day and the venue is the Brown Cow pub, Norden, Rochdale. This is both an A&T Club Champs Race and a Grand Prix race.

Will be leaving the Rail station at 10.00 sharpish.
