I completed the 5 km jog round Pennington Flash, Leigh today (16 May 2010) in a time of 28 mins 20 secs which beats my previous best for 5 km of 31 mins 40 secs. Really didn't think that I would get the time under 30 mins but I did and was really surprised that I managed it. Thanks to going out with the club I have managed to get up to to the distance (and further) and get a little faster each time. I would like to thank the group for their support and patience as I am still really very slow compared to everyone else. I hope that one day I will be able to keep up. Cheers.
