I am resigning with immediate effect from my position as Road Captain on the committee. I would like to thank the whole club for the tremendous support afforded to me during my time in this position, which I have enjoyed immensely and found very rewarding.

As a new(ish) member at A&T I have to say that in the short time that I have been a member, the support and encouragement offered to me by many at the club, but particularly Gary Baines and Pete Chan has been immense and of great value to me.
I would like to thank them publicly for all that they have freely given to me and recognise that they do so for all of us without reservation.
Whilst I respect the decisions that they have made, we as ordinary members may well regret the loss of their skills, encouragement and enthusiasms for some time to come. I find it difficult to see this great club as being better off for their departure.
