A reminder that next Monday’s session is Yasso 800’s on the track. Looks like fun! As always though on the track you can tailor the session to suit yourself.
Marathon Key Session
On March the 8th we will be going to Leigh Sport Village track at 6.15 for a 6.30 start to do the ‘Yasso’ 800s. …. You do not need to be doing a Marathon to have a go.
On track and after warm up
10 x 800m in a target time of 3mins XX secs per effort a strict 1 min recovery between each effort
This is very much a confidence builder and normally converts that the time you can manage for these in Mins and secs will be your marathon time in Hrs and Mins
We will form two or three groups:
10 x 800m (1 min) in 3.15
10 x 800m (1 min) in 3.30
10 x 800m (1min) in 3.45
(or as many groups as necessary)
