Liverpool 1/2 Marathon by Steve Coleman

This Sunday, in my quest to do more than a normal amount of half marathon runs saw me off to Liverpool. For a change L left early suspecting there would be delays. So much for getting there early, I was stuck in a queue to get into the car pack for half an hour, got to the start just in time to push in near the front and then hear the start was delayed due to people being stuck in their cars. So, in some discomfort, some of us after the start were seen leaving the main group to head off bush hunting. The course was not flat, for some reason I `d thought it was and it was very windy. This turned into a head wnid heading up beside the river for four miles. 4497 finnished and i came 159th and 1h 28m 28s.
