About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Fell Grand Prix 2010- Lad's Leap Fell Race 28th March


Only two of us made the trip to Crowden in the Peak District to take part in the first fell Grand Prix race of the season.

We arrived at the venue at Crowden Campsite where there was a great atmosphere amongst superb scenery.

There were representatives from all the clubs in the Grand Prix to take part in what turned out to be a cracking fell race.

1st Lloyd Taggart- Dark Peak 47:24
37th Mark Ruscoe 62:51
53rd Paul Jackson 65:27

146 Finishers

A good result in terms of the Grand Prix with Mark and I claiming 3rd and 5th places respectively overall.

The next Club Champs race at Wardle Skyline, Rochdale is also a Grand Prix race so the more runners the merrier.
