Calling all 100 milers!
We are doing one of the key training sessions for the 100 mile challenge this Sunday 28th March meeting at Atherton Train Station at 8.45am for a 9am start.
The course is approx 70 miles out and back to Southport, we are not going down the M61 as originally posted (Thanks Andrew Coates!!) and instead will take the safer option down the A6.

The plan is to get to Southport in one hit, call at the chippy and have 30 minutes break before setting back. Weather permitting we will stop at a pub (at the request of John Lee) on the way back and Federicks Ice Cream parlour at my request!
Should be a good day out.
I also need the £25.00 train ticket money by Sunday for the train home from Penrith, if i don't receive your money i'll assume you are not coming and will discount you from the ride unless you want to arrange your own transport.

I like a bit of speedwork as much as the next person but 9 miles on the M61 was a bit of a big ask!
Thinking about it your right Andrew but i did get my inspiration from the Kenyan's who rode down the hard shoulder during the Commonwealth Games!
