Thank you to everyone who has showed interest in doing the 100 Mile Challenge.
We are now looking for definate names to do the ride, ideally by the next club meeting on Sunday 28th February.
John Lee has kindly volunteered to follow the pelaton in the van and then take the bikes back home to Atherton so it enables all the cyclist to catch the train home together.
To secure your place on the ride i am now taking your £25.00 train ticket fare and all we ask in return is that you try and secure as much sponsorship as you can towards the Macmillan charity, i have a number of sponsor forms to dish out once i receive your money.
The route is http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3458718
We would also like you to take part in some of the training bike rides we are doing, it is important that we are confident that both you and your bike can make the trip.
This Sunday's (21st) ride is a 35 miler through the Horwich Moors and involves a tough slog over Rivington Road, should be one you will never forget! route is http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3466790
