About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Marathon Training

For those budding marathoners there are a number of options this week..

Tuesday - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3412057 – Dougie, 1 way to East Lancs, down the Lancs to Higher Green Lane, Princess Ave, Squires Lane, Millers Lane, Concert Inn and back to central – 8.68 miles


Thursday - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3431600 - Newbrook Road, Chequerbent, Roundhouse, A6 to Church Street, Cricketers Way, Park Road, left onto A6, right at the lights up Bolton Road (Roundhouse loop the other way round), back to Chequerbent, A6 and down Newbrook - 11.5 miles

Tuesday/Thursday - Off at 6.15pm prompt from Atherton Station.

Saturday 30th January - a 17 mile training run is planned from Gin Pit at 9,30 a.m. sharp.
