About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Kenneth Moss

Sad news as regular Gin Pit racer Ken Moss died over the Christmas period aged 58. 

Ken was a regular winner of the V50 and V55 prizes representing the Northern Vets. 

In my time as race organiser i had brief coversations with him and he appeared to be a nice guy and very humble about his running qualities.  He also said how much he loved the Gin Pit course and the race.

I'm sure he will be missed by the athletics family.
