About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Chernobyl 10km - Message by Me !

As you know today was my first race for almost 10 month's due to illness during 2009.

I'd just like to thank all the members of A&T for their much appreciated support today with your good luck messages before the race and well done's after the race.

During the race itself i got encouragement all the way round from Ray, Mark C, Carole B, Matty C, Brenda and Craig B, I even got a cheeky smile from Josey as she passed me with 400 mtrs to go !

Quote of the day from 'Bacon Mon' shortly after the race when i told him my time he replied
"thats a bad time for you" only Ian Hamilton could say that !!

I can now look onwards and upwards for the rest of the season.
