We are now putting a list together of people intending to do the 100 miles bike ride.
So far we have Gary S, Craig B, John L, Michelle Fairclough, Terry Hughes, Mark Ruscoe, Lyndsey Carter, Sean Spillane and Mark Lysycia as confirmed with a number of others showing interest.
Virgin Trains who go from Penrith to Wigan direct say its company policy to only allow 4 bikes per train which means we may have to travel back in groups of 4 unless we can persuade Richard Branson to turn a blind eye.
We have a number of other options open to us, some of the cyclist are staying overnight either camping or B&B. John Lee has offered to forfeit participation in the ride to enable him to be our back up vehicle and also to take the bikes home. At this stage we would rather John do the bike ride with us but its another option if we get larger numbers than aniticipated so we can dump the bikes in his van all get the train home together.
