About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Marls Pits Boxing Day Fell Race

What a better way to blow off the cobwebs after a hearty Christmas dinner than getting your fancy dress kit on and running up a hill! No seriously..that is exactly what this blog is about.

We'll be going up to Marl Pits, Rossendale for an 11.30 race start. Fancy dress is optional (but preferred), and there are prizes for the best, maybe we could have an A&T theme?
Sweets will be dished out at summit by Santa.
The run is 4 miles with only 750' of ascent making it a perfect run out for fell debutants.
Anyone interested can email me or meet up at 10 am on Boxing Day at Atherton Railway Station with the rest of us.

£3.00 entry on the day.

It should be a right laugh..Go on..you know you want to!
