A&T Christmas Canter Bike Ride - Sunday 10th Janaury

Christmas Canter - Sunday 10th Janaury
(Re-arranged from the 28th December due to bad weather)
Meeting at Atherton Train Station 9.45 to set off at 10am prompt.

For those who are interested in a little festive fun pedalling off that turkey then you won't want to miss this, oh i should have mentioned the fact we are heading up towards Horwich moors with a couple of tough climbs!!

This ride is geared (pardon the pun) towards athletes who have some biking experience as it will be quite tough, the ride will last around 2 hours and is approx 30 miles in distance.
This is a group ride and as Bob would say 'its not a race'

We are hoping for a nice morning to do the ride but in the unlikely event of thick ice or snow then ring me on 01942 799162 to check the ride is on or keep posted to the blog.

Everyone is welcome including our friends from Leigh Harriers who have took part in the recent duathlons.

For more information see Craig Bradury, watch this space for more information.

For any cyclist interested in a less enduring bike ride I'm sure that can be arranged just drop me a line on stevensgary@hotmail.com or again see Craig Bradbury at training.

Regards, Gary Stevens.
