About Us

Established in 2001 with over 120 members the club competes in various road, fell and x-country races during the year.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and have a ever increasing group of members interested in duathlon, triathlons, open water swimming and even Ironman!
We also have a thriving social scene and hold various social events through out the year.

Palma Mallorca,half marathon by Derek Coop



It was a early start with nearly 8,000 runners,race got under way 9am.marathon and 10k all included.It was colder than last year but ideal conditions for the athletes.


Myself and Mark lysycia started the race at a good pace,with split times at 43mins and 44mins for mark..The atmosphere was brilliant,more like a carnival.spurring everyone on.

It was flatish course with a couple of hills thrown in,but the cool weather helped the runners on the day.

I came in at 1hr 32. 38...Mark 1hr 36.22

Our room mate Colin Rigby(Horwich) came in 4th 1hr 13..

A race not to be missed next year. Well organised and fantastic support for this, the sixth Palma full/half Marathon/10k
