Message from Shaun Moran

As from today i have decided to resign as Club Coach and from my committee position.

You may be aware i was a founder member of A&T along with Mark and Joanne Riches back in 2000. Since then i took the mantle of 'Club Coach' and with the help of the other committee members i have seen the club grow to what is it today, this has given me a great sense a pride over these years.

However i have recently turned 50 and feel it is now the time to have some 'me' time to spend more time with the family and do other things. Due to recent injuries i decided to join the DW gym just to tick over and enjoyed it that much i have just extended for another 6 months, I have been put through my paces by John 'Captain Mainwaring' Lee which is something i am really enjoying.

This decision is not an easy one and one that i have been thinking about for quite some time.

Winning the Central Lancs Grand Prix was a fantastic achievement and one which fills me with a great deal of pride.

I would like to say 'Thank you' to Bob for all his work over the years to build up the Tuesday/Thursday group and thank the committee for their support over the years.

Once i recover from injury i will of course continue to train with the club and wear the A&T vest in races.

I'd just like to finish off by saying a BIG THANK YOU to all the 'troops' who have turned out to training sessions under my guidance and raced to put A&T the envy of other clubs.

You all deserve a 'Shaun Moran' round of applause.
