Leek Half Marathon - By Steve Coleman

On Sunday with good weather conditions John Foulds and myself did the Leek half marathon. One of the harder runs with 1220 feet of hills to go up, and not gentle ones. They may call it the Leek half marathon but it is out from a park and into the hills, only one small bit on a main road and the rest on quiet country roads. The organisers warn not to expect a good or normal half marathon time and I can agree with that!! John and I passed each other a few times during the race. I came in at 74th and 1 hour 37.02 and John 80th at 1h 38.23
