Half Marathons - By Steve Coleman

Last weekend two A & T runners ( Myself and John Foulds ) did Garstang half marathon, a undulating course which got harder as it went on. I was reduced to walking on the last two hills. At least no sting in the tail and a good last mile. I came in 28th at 1H 30M 48S and John at 1h 38m 31s.

This weekend I did Dumfries half marathon, another undulating but interesting course.
Piped to the start line by police on bikes as well as kilted bagpiper players, must be a Scottish thing. Great weather conditions allowed me to improve from last years 1h 32m 58s to a faster 1H 27M 59S.

Steve
