PB's galore at Blackpool

5 A&T runners travelled to a windy Blackpool to compete in the ever popular Great North Western Half Marathon. The flat and fast out and back course takes you from the start near the Hilton up to near Bispham and back twice.

Steve Eldridge who had already done a 3 mile run at 8am completed the course in a very encouraging 1.34.03 after having a nightmare end to 2008 with injury, lets hope Steve can now show his potential during the 2009 season.

Dan Reason and Mike Newall showed the Edinburgh marathon training is paying off with massive PB's each, Dan clocking 1.40.47 and Mike 1.42.05.

Dave 'Dora the Explorer' Pritchard is taking huge chunks off his pb's and is showing that Coach Bob is getting the best out of his athletes by clocking 1.51.39. Jayne Shea clocked 2.03.13 after missing last weeks Wrexham Half due to illness.
